Our Story

In Cape Muroto on Shikoku island, we bought two large Japanese traditional houses called Akiya in Dec 2022, we recycled everything we could for the project, and the wonderful local team renovated them in 2023.

The villa is situated just off route 55, in a village area between the coast and the mountains and a 10 minutes drive to the shops, restaurants and all amenities in Muroto city.

We are Shing and Charles, and we live in the main house. Adjacent, we created a guest house and garden named Beato Uchi meaning
A Blessed Home.
